Outside Sales Representative – Hardscape & Brick Pavers

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven, relationship oriented, Outside Sales Representative to expand our brick paver and hardscape division. In this role, you will be the face of our landscape supply business, managing an existing book of accounts, while aggressively hunting for new business. You will spend your time in the field visiting job sites, meeting with landscape contractors, hardscape installers, masons, and matching them with our premium product lines. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality, an established network in the local building or landscaping community, and a track record of consulting sales success. Experience with brick, pavers, retaining walls, sealers, and sweep sand is mandatory.

Core Responsibilities:

• Grow the Territory: Identify, prospect, and close new contractor accounts, commercial builders, and landscape design firms across the region.
• Maintain Relationships: Service existing contractor accounts through regular on-site visits, product updates, and exceptional customer service.
• Conduct Field Consultations: Educate contractors on our premium brick paver lines, retaining walls, and hardscape accessories through product demonstrations and outdoor showcases.
• Manage the Sales Pipeline: Track leads, quotes, and orders efficiently using our CRM system to ensure accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.

Key Requirements:

• Sales Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of paver sales and proven outbound or territory sales experience (hardscape, building materials, construction, or landscape industry experience is highly preferred).
• Industry Connections: An active rolodex or existing relationships with local landscape and patio contractors is a massive plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently speak the language of both business owners and on-site crew foremen.
• Mobility & Flexibility: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a willingness to travel daily across the designated territory.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to navigate active construction sites and occasionally lift product samples (up to 50 lbs.).
