Position Summary

Join a small, hands-on Paint/Blast team responsible for preparing, blasting, painting, and powder coating metal components used in automated warehousing equipment. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their skills.
Pay: $30/hr
Schedule

2nd Shift

• Monday-Thursday
• 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
• Two paid 15-minute breaks
• One unpaid 30-minute meal break

Training Schedule (1-2 Weeks)

• Monday-Thursday
• 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Load and unload metal parts using manual methods and a sit-down forklift
• Operate blasting equipment using 50-grit blast media
• Prepare, hang, and rack parts for paint and powder coat processes
• Paint and powder coat products to quality standards
• Move materials throughout the shop using a forklift
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Support multiple phases of the paint and blast process as needed

Requirements

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift and move materials of varying sizes and weights
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple areas
• Ability to work safely while wearing protective equipment

• Preferred Experience

• Sandblasting
• Industrial painting
• Powder coating
• Manufacturing or production environments

No direct paint or blast experience? Training is available for motivated candidates.
Work Environment

• Clean and organized manufacturing facility
• Produces automated warehousing equipment
• Small team environment with direct supervisor support
• Non-climate-controlled facility
• Must be comfortable wearing a clean air hood, suit, or coveralls

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
