Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapy Tech

Radiation Therapist
Schedule: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience required; Valid state license required at submission (compact license must be in hand); Certifications: BLS; State and National certification (as listed); Experience with Varian machines and external beam therapy; Knowledge of IMRT, tumor localization, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging; Familiarity with Eclipse or Pinnacle planning systems; Radiation safety and dose calculation experience; Patient handling and use of isolation precautions/PPE; Charting system: Epic
Roles & Responsibilities: Administer radiation treatments to patients according to prescribed plans; Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care; Monitor patient reactions and report any side effects or concerns; Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress; Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations
Compliance / Notes: Submission requirements: SSN, DOB, compact state license in-hand, and required references; Background: Facility does not accept Nursys or background hits; Orientation modules to be completed pre-start and during orientation; non-billable and recorded in transcripts; No direct outreach: Candidates should not contact facility contacts directly unless approved by the Account Manager/PM
