Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Long Term Care Pharmacist In Charge to lead and manage pharmacy operations near Worcester, MA. This role involves overseeing the pharmacy’s success and growth while ensuring compliance with regulations and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations with a focus on long term care pharmacy services
• Provide leadership as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC), ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and long term care facilities to optimize medication management
• Lead staff development and implement effective pharmacy workflows
• Oversee prescription processing and dispensing within long term care regulations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Long Term Care Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) is required
• Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of long term care pharmacy practices and regulations
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
