LTC Staff Pharmacist - Worcester, Massachusetts

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy near Milford, MA is seeking a Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist to support and enhance their pharmacy operations. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist interested in applying or expanding their expertise in Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy.

Location: Worcester, MA (near Milford)

Responsibilities:

Manage daily pharmacy operations with a focus on Long Term Care medication management.
Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens.
Provide counseling and support to LTC patients and staff.
Assist in pharmacy growth initiatives and contribute to quality improvements.

Qualifications:

Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing is required.
Prior experience in Long Term Care pharmacy is highly preferred.
Retail pharmacists interested in developing LTC skills are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
