A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a small, 50-bed hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This travel position offers the chance to work in a close-knit healthcare environment where your expertise directly impacts patient care.

Location: Kingsford, MI
Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks minimum, with potential extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflows
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to tailor patient treatment plans
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems to manage prescriptions and inventory

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacist license
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, ideally within similar settings
• Comfortable working in the Northern Michigan region
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
