We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to join our clients team in Troy. In this role, you will assist certified Inspectors with inspections utilizing various NDT techniques to identify corrosion, defects, and other detrimental conditions in accordance with written procedures and industry standards as well as well as assisting in the shipping and receiving department.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the aerospace/manufacturing inspection industry. Training is provided, and candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30am - 3:00pm with overtime as needed.

Pay will depend on Experience but will range from $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Parts Inspector/Warehouse Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT Inspectors with inspection processes and equipment setup
• Help perform calibrations, testing procedures, and evaluations under supervision
• Load, unload, package, and stage customer materials and hardware
• Prepare parts for NDT processing, including pre-cleaning and staging
• Arrange metal parts into baskets, dip tanks, or onto processing equipment
• Assist with magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection processes
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, work areas, and equipment
• Operate or assist with material handling and processing equipment
• Perform general facility upkeep and preventive maintenance duties
• Assist with snow, ice, and debris removal around facility grounds when needed
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Parts Inspector/Warehouse Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, mechanical, or related experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required
