This role is responsible for the inspection and accurate counting of incoming materials , ensuring all components meet company and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, components, and parts
- Verify quantities and counts against packing slips and purchase orders
- Conduct full inspection to ensure materials meet specifications and quality standards
- Use hand tools and inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Identify and document non-conforming materials
- Work with suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
- Support inventory accuracy and material control processes
- 2+ years of experience in receiving inspection or quality control
- Experience with full inspection and counting of incoming materials (required)
- Proficiency using inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace environments
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection procedures
- Knowledge of GD&T (a plus)
