Assistant Program DirectorSalary: $115,000 - $130,000 per yearLocation: Hayward, CaliforniaMinimum Degree:Relocation Assistance: AvailableJob DescriptionWe are looking for an Assistant Program Director VN Program to join our team. This position works under the supervision of the Campus Program Director of the Vocational Nursing Program.Assists the Director in planning, developing, managing, and evaluating all aspects of the VN ProgramPrepares data and written materials for state and Board reports, proposals, self-studies, and site visitsIdentifies and secures outside resources for the nursing programAssesses clinical agencies for suitability and ensures Facility Approval Applications are completed before rotations beginEnsures timely completion of student theory and clinical evaluations by facultyMaintains evaluations from students, clinical sites, and faculty after each rotationSupports strategic planning and continuous improvement of program quality and instructionEnsures clinical assignments, rotation matrices, and calendars are completed on timeMonitors faculty compliance with clinical rotation policies and guidelinesReviews student learning materials on an ongoing basisEnsures student records are properly maintained according to policySubmits required program reports and forms to the Director in a timely mannerStays current with new technologies and safety regulationsProvides advising and planning support to potential studentsEnsures students meet all graduation and state licensing exam requirementsTeaches theory or clinical courses approximately half of the timePerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsValid, current, and active Registered Nurse license in the state of applicationBaccalaureate degree from an approved schoolMinimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year in teaching or clinical supervision in an approved nursing program within the last 5 years (or 3 years in nursing administration or education within the last 5 years)Completed courses in teaching, curriculum development, and administration from an approved schoolWhy is This a Great OpportunityWe Offer:Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment2 Weeks starting Vacation per year.
