Agent in Training - Farmers Insurance

Job Description We are looking for a competitive insurance agent candidates for the Farmers Insurance Protégé Program. Our protégé agents work for qualified mentor agents around Michigan to learn and sell our product portfolio, ways to market and run an insurance agency from top to bottom. Our Protégé program is essentially a paid internship program (base+ commission) to help prepare you for starting OR taking over an existing book of business. We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born salesperson with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. Candidates understand that it takes time to build a business, to develop the proper skills and understanding to excel in this field. We provide our Proteges with ongoing training and support on their path to success so they can best serve the Farmers customers! Candidates will generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers’ portfolio. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase the agency's reputation while gaining the knowledge and experience to launch your own agency.
