As a Senior Factory Quality Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards in the development of cat and dog food product. The main responsibility is to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and specifications. This employee will serve as a backup for the formulation specialist and ingredient specialist. Quality and safety are the promises we make on every bag, container, tub, and can – and we continue to deliver on that promise.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance to Nestlé Purina regulatory guidelines and specifications
• Serving as a back-up for the formulation program to meet Purina operating standards
• Serving as a backup for the ingredient receiving program
• Assurance of plant compliance to established standards
• Developing and delivering quality assurance related training to employees with support of the department
• Using established procedures to perform laboratory activities to include analytical testing and sensory evaluation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $49,953.60 to $71,215.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
