RYCO Heavy Haul, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Heavy Haul Pilot Car Driver. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and the ability to handle early morning and late evening hours when needed. Prior experience with Heavy Haul Trucking and transportation escorting is a required.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Escort oversized loads
2. Operate passenger cars and pick-up trucks safely and efficiently.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
4. Follow assigned routes, navigate local roadways efficiently, and adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members throughout your trip.
6. Occasionally act as a parts-runner for the shop.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. Strong knowledge of New England roads and traffic patterns.
3. Ability to safely operate vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
4. Strong work ethic and reliability.
5. Familiarity with construction sites and transportation services.
6. Ability to lift 50lbs minimum.
