What You'll Do

• Guardian of Standards: Perform meticulous inspections of incoming raw materials, customer-supplied parts, and finished products to ensure they meet exact specifications.
• Master of Precision: Use standardized methods and quality checklists to validate product performance and functionality.
• The "Fixer": Identify deviations or defects and collaborate across departments to find timely, permanent solutions.
• Process Architect: Help develop and enforce protocols that optimize our inspection process and enhance overall quality assurance.
• Safety & Compliance Leader: Ensure every product meets industry regulations and company policies, all while fostering a secure, 5S-compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials, customer supplied parts, and finished products meet
customer specifications through meticulous examination and precise
measurement.
• Perform form, fit and function inspection to validate product quality and
performance using standardized methods including quality checklists.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to
ensure traceability and quality control.
• Communicate identified defects promptly and collaborate with departments for
timely fix and resolution.
• Verify that products meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory
requirements by staying updated on quality regulations.
• Oversee all production stages to uphold consistent quality standards and identify
areas for improvement in workflows.
• Develop and enforce protocols to optimize inspection processes and enhance
quality assurance.
• Analyze quality-related concerns, identify root causes, and collaborate on
solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols during inspection work to
promote a secure workplace for all personnel.
• Participate in improvement activities including 5S and standardization.
• Other quality activities may be assigned.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• standing for 6 hours at one time
