Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and DeliveryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal and newborn care and is committed to providing exceptional patient care during labor and delivery processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care and support to laboring women and their families.Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout the labor process.Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate postpartum care.Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.Educate patients and families on prenatal and postnatal care.Document patient assessments and interventions in accordance with healthcare standards.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.Valid nursing license and BLS/NRP certification required.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.Work ScheduleEvery other weekend required.One 12-hour shift per schedule.Nights: 3 shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00).Compliance RequirementsFull compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met, there may be a delay of up to 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.Holiday RequirementsTravelers are expected to work the following during their assignment period:One major holiday: Expected to work.Two major holidays: Expected to work both.Three major holidays: Expected to work two.Major holidays include:Memorial DayIndependence DayLabor DayThanksgiving/Black FridayChristmas Eve/Christmas DayNew Year's Eve/New Year's DayAdditional InformationLocal candidates are accepted and will be offered the same rate.
