Senior Accountant – RJ’s Construction Supply
RJ’s Construction Supply is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role goes beyond accounting; you’ll also play a key part in strengthening our operational processes, improving workflows, and helping shape the financial backbone of our growing business.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Handle critical accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, inventory & cash controls, internal audits, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Develop and implement efficient accounting workflows and operational processes
- Partner with leadership to create, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the store
- Generate advanced financial reports and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting
- 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven track record of improving workflows and implementing new processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence teams
- Excellent communication skills—able to collaborate across departments
- Advanced reporting and analytical capabilities
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, not required)
