Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Charge RN experience, and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• 13-week contract on a 29-bed Med/Surg unit serving adult through geriatric patients
• Patient population includes orthopedic cases (total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties) as well as general medical/surgical and 24-hour observation patients
• Telemetry monitoring available on the unit; unit also features an on-site physical therapy gym
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed
• Charge RN shifts required as needed
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed; study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
