Labor and Employment Associate - Los Angeles

Thompson Coburn is seeking a highly motivated third-year law student to join its Labor & Employment practice as an associate beginning in Fall 2026, following graduation and pending bar admission. The position offers exposure to a broad range of employment law matters, including employment litigation and counseling, with opportunities to assist on single-plaintiff actions, wage-and-hour matters, and other workplace disputes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in labor and employment law, possess excellent analytical and writing skills, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment. Candidates must intend to sit for the California bar exam and obtain admission to practice in California. The salary range for this position in our Los Angeles office is $195,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training and other job-related factors.
