Location: Remote; Chicago area preferred, but other locations considered

Schedule: Monday–Friday

We want a hunter who can engage the C-suite, uncover business challenges, and bring in the talent to solve them.

Our work goes well beyond posting jobs or sending mass outreach to “open to work” candidates. We spend our time running meetings, navigating organizations, and identifying the top performers and change makers who can improve our clients’ sales and operations.

We cold call. We ask tough questions. We give candid feedback. And we earn trust by understanding businesses, challenging assumptions, and delivering talent that makes an impact.

You should enjoy opening doors, getting past surface-level answers, and building relationships with people who aren’t necessarily looking for their next opportunity. You should be equally comfortable earning a new client’s business and helping a candidate think through a career move.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with C-suite leaders and senior decision-makers.
• Win new search assignments and grow existing client accounts.
• Lead intake conversations to understand the business problem behind each hiring need, including role requirements, culture, and performance expectations.
• Manage sales, operations, and executive searches from intake through placement.
• Navigate organizations, develop referrals, and engage high-performing talent through targeted outreach and cold calling.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates for qualifications, motivation, and long-term fit.
• Advise clients and candidates, ask difficult questions, and provide candid feedback throughout the process.
• Guide candidates through interviews, offer negotiations, acceptance, and the transition into their new role.
• Partner with our internal team on sourcing, scheduling, submittals, and search execution.
• Maintain accurate RecruitCRM records, pipelines, next steps, and activity metrics with support from the team.
• Use AI tools and workflow automation to improve productivity and the client and candidate experience.
• Represent CCR Search at industry events, with opportunities to attend KBIS and IBS.

Who Should Apply:

We’re interested in full desk agency recruiters who enjoy both business development and recruiting. We’re also open to building materials or tech sales professionals with strong prospecting skills, a consultative approach, and the drive to learn recruiting.

Successful candidates will bring:

• Experience in full desk agency recruiting, B2B sales, or another relationship-driven role with measurable results.
• A hunter mentality and the willingness to initiate conversations, cold call, pursue opportunities, and follow through.
• Confidence building relationships with executives and senior decision-makers.
• Curiosity about how businesses operate and how the right hire can improve performance.
• Strong interviewing, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• The judgment to ask tough questions and deliver constructive feedback.
• The ability to manage multiple searches, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfort using multiple technology platforms, or a strong willingness to learn, including RecruitCRM, LinkedIn, ChatGPT, Claude, and workflow automation.
• Accountability for activity, pipeline progress, and results.

Experience in building materials, cabinetry, kitchen and bath, or related industries is a plus, but is not required.
