Certified Dietary Manager Position Summary

As the CDM at Laurelwood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the budget and purchasing of food & supplies, food preparation, services, and storage.

• Oversee safe and timely meal prep, including provision of meal and supplements in accordance with resident care plans. Monitor regular and therapeutic diets.

• Develop work schedule for staff, oversee inventory, and inspect meals to ensure standards are met.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in QAPI as needed.

• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator and/or VP of Nutritional Services.

• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Certified Dietary Manager Requirements

• Active Dietary Manager certification

• Food Service Manager or certification/degree in Food Service Management or in Hospitality

• 2 years of Food Service Management preferred
