Electrical Panel Assembler
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (On-site)
Pay: $20/hour
Type: Temporary, Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Openings: 20
Schedule
Summer Hours (through 9/5): Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
Non-summer hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM
Breaks include two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch .
Position Summary
Entry-level opportunity supporting the layout and assembly of electrical panels to customer specifications. Ideal for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment both independently and with a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review build sheets and production/technical documentation
- Assemble electrical plates and enclosures using build prep instructions
- Install electrical components and controllers per documentation/prints
- Wire components using correct color/gauge, ferrules, cables, tags, and required identification
- Support coworkers and contribute to a positive team environment
- Follow quality standards and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical/vocational training is a plus
