Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours per week)
Pay: $1,690–$1,818 per week
Setting: General acute care unit with a mixed medical and surgical patient population

This travel assignment places you in a general acute care setting that serves a mixed medical and surgical population. The unit aims for a balanced distribution, with patient mix not exceeding 65% medical or 65% surgical. You’ll provide nursing care per established standards and work collaboratively with the care team to maintain quality, safety, and efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines, applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while monitoring evolving clinical statuses in a general acute care setting.
- Support discharge planning, patient education, and documentation of care provided.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12 schedule)
- Experience in medical-surgical or general acute care settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to a new unit and collaborative interdisciplinary environment
