Position: Human Resources/Office Coordinator

Location: Schaumburg, Illinois

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR/Office Coordinator to join our growing team in Schaumburg, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Support:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support across areas including HRIS data entry, compliance administration, reporting, immigration coordination, and employee document management.
  • Prepare and process employee documentation including hire sheets, Personnel Action Forms (PAFs), employee notices, organizational changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Support the preparation, tracking, and coordination of employment-based immigration cases under the guidance of the HR Manager and external legal counsel.
  • Generate HR reports and assist with compliance-related initiatives including ISO documentation, KPI tracking, audits, and record retention requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including pre-employment documentation, I-9 verification, orientation scheduling, and first-day employee experience initiatives.

Office & Administrative Support:

  • Manage daily office operations, including supplies, vendors, and facility coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for administrative needs across production, engineering, and leadership teams
  • Plan, organize, and support company meetings, training sessions, recruiting events, employee appreciation activities, and other corporate events, including scheduling, vendor coordination, catering, logistics, and communication.
  • Help ensure a clean, safe, and organized office environment in alignment with company standards
  • Manage calendars, meeting scheduling, conference room bookings, and coordination of internal and external appointments related to HR and company activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

The base hourly range for this non-exempt position is $25.00-35.00 USD. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K.
