Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Towson, MD
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Job Summary
We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide outpatient dermatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and minor dermatologic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions.
- Perform biopsies, shave removals, cryosurgery, ED&C, and suturing.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
- Conduct skin cancer screenings and follow-up visits.
- Educate patients on treatment and preventative skincare.
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and participate in shared on-call coverage.
- See approximately 30–40 patients per day .
Cosmetic dermatology experience, including Botox and fillers, is a plus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current PA-C certification and active state license.
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- EHR proficiency; NextGen experience is a plus.
