About the Position

• Full time Dermatology Physician Assistant opportunity in Towson, MD
• Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluation & treatment
• Diagnose & manage common dermatologic conditions
• Assist with minor dermatologic procedures
• Provide patient education & preventative skincare counseling
• Work collaboratively with physicians & clinical staff

• Perform comprehensive dermatologic assessments
• Evaluate & manage skin conditions
• Develop treatment plans within scope of practice
• Prescribe medications as permitted
• Perform minor dermatologic procedures within training & scope
• Assist with shave removals & biopsies
• Perform cryotherapy when appropriate
• Monitor patient progress & provide follow up care
• Educate patients on treatment options & preventative skincare
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Refer patients to physicians or specialists when appropriate
• Collaborate with the dermatology team
• Participate in on call responsibilities as required

• Full Time
• Standard outpatient clinical schedule
• Periodic on call responsibilities
• Patient appointments, procedures & follow ups

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification preferred/required
• Active & unrestricted Maryland PA license
• Dermatology experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• EHR proficiency; NextGen experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask & manage a busy patient schedule
• Strong commitment to patient centered care
