About the Position

• Full time Dermatologist opportunity in Towson, MD
• Provide comprehensive dermatologic care for a diverse patient population
• Diagnose & treat a wide range of skin conditions
• Perform skin cancer screenings, biopsies & minor dermatologic procedures
• Provide preventative skincare education & ongoing patient management
• Collaborative clinical environment focused on high quality patient care

• Evaluate & diagnose dermatologic conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications & monitor treatment response
• Perform shave removal, punch biopsy & excisional biopsy
• Perform cryosurgery & ED&C
• Place sutures as needed
• Conduct skin cancer screenings
• Provide follow up examinations
• Educate patients regarding treatment & preventative skincare
• Refer patients for surgical or specialty care when appropriate
• Maintain accurate & timely medical records
• Participate in shared on call rotation
• Collaborate with physicians & specialists

• Standard outpatient clinic schedule
• Periodic on call responsibilities
• Procedure & follow up appointments based on patient needs

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of accredited Dermatology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Active & unrestricted Maryland medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Strong clinical diagnostic & procedural skills
• Excellent communication & patient relationship skills
• EHR proficiency; NextGen experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask & manage a busy clinical schedule
