Principal Associate, ACD, Art Director Brand Creative

Based in McLean, Virginia, the Information Technology Senior Management Forum is seeking a Principal Associate, ACD, Art Director — Brand Creative to guide design leadership for Capital One Brand Creative across print and digital channels. This role shapes integrated marketing experiences and customer-focused brand interactions, working closely with copywriters, legal, and internal teams to deliver campaigns on schedule with meticulous attention to detail. You will translate strategic insights into creative executions that elevate the brand while maintaining rigorous standards. Responsibilities Lead design and creative direction across multiple channels, including email, web, direct mail, display, and social media. Develop big concepts and manage detail-oriented projects, ensuring ideas translate into effective executions. Influence, collaborate with, and guide a network of skilled professionals. Partner with copywriters and the creative director to drive campaigns, coordinating with internal marketing, lines of business, legal, and testing. Manage projects end-to-end, contributing hands-on or leading peers, contractors, and external agencies. Create marketing that cuts through the noise and apply strategic thinking to inform creative decisions. Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while remaining faithful to the brand. Leverage consumer insights to shape work and approach each project with a testing mindset using available tools. When appropriate, utilize AI tools to spark new ideas and test creative executions, complementing artistic vision with technology. Encourage progressive thinking to enhance customer experiences and strengthen brand perception. Deliver on time, manage multiple concurrent deadlines, and produce error-free work with keen attention to detail. Listen to feedback, determine when to reuse existing solutions or start fresh, and seek clarity when needed. Present work compellingly to build consensus across diverse audiences.
