Field Service Engineer I

Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for providing installation, calibration, maintenance, repair, validation, and support services for IVF customers across North America under guidance.Performs field-based equipment service and installation activities following established procedures. Builds technical competency across supported products and utilizes D365 CRM for service documentation.ResponsibilitiesObtain certifications to install and service assigned IVF equipmentPerform equipment installations following standard proceduresPerform routine service, maintenance, calibration, and validation tasksProvide basic technical support to customers and sales teamsAssist in troubleshooting and repair activitiesMaintain accurate paperwork and device history records in D365Support workshops and trade shows (setup and teardown)Manage travel logistics and expense reportingParticipate in training and team meetingsPerform other duties as assignedTravel: Up to 90-100%Work Environment:Lifting of 50 lbs is commonContact with household cleanersQualificationsBasic understanding of medical device serviceFoundational knowledge of microscopy and lab environmentsAbility to follow procedures and work under guidanceBasic troubleshooting skills (electrical and mechanical)Strong organizational and communication skillsFamiliarity with MS Office; CRM exposure preferredPassing of background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and driving records.Experience:Experience in Medical Equipment Field Service or Service and Repair preferred.CRM business system operation.Education:Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.Biomedical Equipment education a plusJob InfoJob Identification 11981Job Category EngineeringPosting Date 07/16/2026, 07:36 PMJob Schedule Full timeLocations 3 Regent St., Livingston, NJ, 07039, US (On-site)Company CooperSurgical
