Home Health Aide (HHA) / STNA / CNA

Location: Miami County, Ohio
Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN
Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available

Position Summary

Tennyson Health Care Services Inc. is seeking caring, compassionate, patient, and dependable HHA, STNA, and CNA caregivers to provide quality in-home support to individuals and families throughout Miami County.

Our caregivers are the heart of our organization. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate compassion, respect, empathy, reliability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Caregivers may provide services to elderly individuals, individuals with developmental disabilities, waiver clients, and private-pay clients.

Essential Responsibilities

Caregivers may be responsible for:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Assisting clients with activities of daily living
• Providing light housekeeping
• Preparing meals and assisting with meal cleanup
• Providing medication reminders and medication administration as permitted by applicable training and authorization
• Providing social stimulation and meaningful activities
• Assisting with errands
• Monitoring and communicating changes in the client's overall well-being
• Maintaining communication with supervisors and care team members
• Completing required documentation accurately and timely
• Providing NMT and HPC transportation when assigned and authorized
• Providing respite services
• Supporting clients in congregate home settings
• Providing services under waiver nursing and nursing delegation when properly trained and authorized
• Providing care to private-pay clients
• Protecting the client's dignity, privacy, rights, safety, and independence

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Current CNA/STNA/HHA certification OR
• A minimum of one year of verifiable experience in the home health field
• Ability to work with individuals of varying ages and needs
• Strong communication skills
• Compassion and empathy toward clients and their families
• Dependability and professionalism
• Ability to follow care plans, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
• Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the care team
