Collections Analyst

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• 5+ years of B2B collections work experience.
• Strong knowledge of the order-to-cash process.
• At least 1 year of SAP experience within the past three years.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP and Get Paid.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and be available to work Eastern Time.

Experience:

• 5+ years of B2B collections experience.
• Experience handling collections for key customer accounts.
• Experience with dispute management.
• Experience in process improvement and root cause analysis.
• Experience providing oversight and support to third-party collection teams.

Responsibilities:

• Drive proactive improvements to collections effectiveness.
• Provide impactful proactive action plans through frequent monitoring of past due percentages.
• Create and execute strategic action plans to improve cash flow timeliness.
• Ensure SLAs are met and partner with extended shared services teams to improve performance.
• Challenge the status quo and actively participate in continuous process improvement projects and Kaizen events.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Drive processes and ensure goals are met by participating in and leading governance calls.
• Manage timely collections and resolution of past due accounts receivable for assigned key customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with external key accounts and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with customers and the Cash Applications Department to resolve open credits and refunds.
• Lead initiatives to improve DSO involving various internal stakeholder groups.
• Champion SAP improvement projects.
• Manage disputes and support resolution activities.
• Provide oversight to the third-party team processing collections.
• Advise and support the third-party firm on escalated issues.
• Proactively identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities.
• Identify and execute initiatives to improve DSO.

Should Have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Specialized skill training or certification is a plus.
• Experience with portal uploading.
• Preference for experience with government portals such as PIEE (WAWF) and IPP.gov.
