Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, coordinating diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (according to credentialing)
• Educating patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and disease management techniques
• Prescribing medications and therapies per your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
