Summary: Reports to the Nurse Manager of the Stepdown department and is responsible for assisting with planning, administering, and evaluating the twenty-four hour operation of one or more nursing units. In doing so, duties are assigned based on patients' needs, staffing availability, etc. Attends patient rounds with physicians, answers questions regarding patients' condition, receives physicians' orders, and notes patients' charts. Directs preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records.
Education: Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing
Experience: Two years of related experience
Credentials:
State of Florida RN
BLS & ACLS required
