Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Boca Raton, FL Position Overview The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. The ADON plays a key leadership role in maintaining regulatory compliance, staff development, and clinical excellence within our skilled nursing facility. Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations Ensure compliance with all federal, state (Florida), and local regulations, including AHCA guidelines Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives Oversee infection control, risk management, and patient safety programs Assist with surveys and audits, ensuring survey readiness at all times Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident care Participate in on-call rotation as needed Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications Current, active Florida RN license (required) Minimum 2–3 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility (ADON, Unit Manager, or similar role preferred) Strong knowledge of AHCA regulations, CMS guidelines, and long-term care compliance Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage staff and drive clinical outcomes Salary Competitive based on experience Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Professional growth and development opportunities Background Screening Requirement: This position is subject to Florida background screening requirements.
