Your Role

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care strategies.
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or working independently (depending on your credentials).
• Educating patients and families about wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management.
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within the defined scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license for the state of Florida.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days).
