The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care while ensuring a seamless scheduling experience. If you're organized, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love for you to be part of our team dedicated to delivering top-tier orthopedic services.In this critical role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for patients - managing and prioritizing calls from the centralized queue - while expertly triaging potential injuries and coordinating appointments for our roughly thirty orthopedic provider and APP teams across multiple clinic locations. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in creating an efficient, positive experience for both patients and our healthcare teams.This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to our Central Indiana locations for training and staff meetings as needed.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Answer and screen phone calls, taking detailed messages and providing clear, accurate information both verbally and in writing.Gather comprehensive information to assess a patient's condition in detail, effectively triaging injuries and/or illnesses to determine the most appropriate course of care for each patientAccurately schedule patient appointments via Electronic Practice Management system (NextGen) for applicable subspecialty physicians located at various locations.Communicate all appointment scheduling changes with patients in a timely mannerMaintain accurate physician schedules by collaborating with clinical teams and leadership to implement appropriate and timely schedule changesFully understand and adhere to each physician’s preferred scheduling protocol and processesAssist in the coordination of medical records as needed for patient visitsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredDegree in healthcare related field or Athletic Training Certification preferredAt least three (3) years of work experience in a healthcare setting with a preferred knowledge of orthopedic medical terminologyMust consistently demonstrate outstanding customer service, be detail oriented, and highly organizedAvailable to work Monday through Friday, between 8:00a - 5:00p.Remote/hybrid position, associate must be local to Indiana - training done in personForté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
