Physical Therapist needed for a long term care facility located in Delhi, NY
Salary ranges from $75K to $95K
Responsibilities:
- The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to clients, and providing feedback to families and other team members.
- Conducting assessments of clients and developing and following treatment plans.
- Assessing home and school environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
- Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
- Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
- Evaluating results and progress of physical therapy on clients.
- Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients and families with the best treatment program available.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid New York Physical Therapist license
- Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or University
- Must have experience in long term care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
