Technical Services and Automation Specialist (Indianapolis, IN) Indianapolis, IN Position Summary This role provides technical service to Sealed Air customers and promotes use of Sealed Air Cryovac packaging materials and equipment systems. The specialist supports sales and marketing by delivering timely service call reporting and detailed administrative documentation, including account performance reports, customer relationship management, and project updates. Responsibilities Assist in daily equipment startups at multiple sites with customers, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining service using Sealed Air Cryovac materials. Assist internal technical service representatives, sales, and customer personnel in equipment installation and train customers on equipment operation, maintenance and sanitation. Inform customers of safety regulations, technical information, modifications and improvements. Analyze packaging quality and production problems to determine if equipment, material, or product related. Assist customers in understanding preventative maintenance programs and spare parts requirements. Enhance customer relations with regular visits, calls, value capture, and equipment audits, assisting in securing parts and advising on packaging techniques per territory business plan. Support service and sales in new products and opportunities. Support sales and marketing by completing all administrative reports in a timely manner.
