Customs Compliance Analyst (Hybrid TX or AZ)

Overview RTX Enterprise Services Purchasing Compliance & Audits team seeks an Import Declaration Advisor with experience in customs compliance, operations, or brokerage. The role plans, organizes and implements day‑to‑day import transactions, providing classification support and ensuring full compliance with all regulations for both import and export. Responsibilities Translate regulatory declaration requirements into concise consultative guidance to support shipment execution. Work with internal functions: Global Trade, Shipping, Receiving, International Logistics, Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders. Review valuation, country of origin, and product information for accuracy. Generate import clearance documentation using SAP-based systems and other tools. Ensure compliant submission of entry instructions to Customs Brokers, including record keeping and licensing management. Assess and monitor documentation provided by Customs Brokers, escalating and resolving service failures. Operate in accordance with standard operating procedures, recommending process or tool updates. Act as primary contact for import declaration filings with internal customers and third‑party service providers. Support classification processes in SAP GTS and other systems, applying accurate Harmonized Tariff (HTS) and Schedule B codes. Qualifications University degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 1+ year experience. Experience in customs compliance and operations within an exporter/importer or brokerage, freight forwarding, or government relations field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preference for experience with PRISM or SAP. Strong independent decision‑making and ability to recommend solutions. Excellent communication skills and coordination with colleagues across business units. What We Offer Competitive salary range: 68,900USD – 131,100USD.
