Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in General Education
- Demonstrated experience teaching Math at the elementary or secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive, respectful learning environment
- Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and parents
- Familiarity with current curriculum standards and best practices in math education
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging math lessons aligned with school and state standards
- Assess student understanding and progress, providing timely feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies, resources, and best practices
- Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement and challenges
- Create a safe, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their full potential
