Passionate about teaching the lifesaving skill of swimming? We are looking for individuals, age 15+ to serve as swim instructors or aides. As a swim instructor or aide you develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime! What is needed for this job as our Swim Instructor (or Instructor Aide): Age 15+. Experience with kids and passion for teaching children to swim. Ability to pass American Red Cross CPR Certification. Ability to complete and pass our in-water skills assessment. The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Swim Instructor (or Instructor Aide): Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn to swim. Encourage and support students to provide an enjoyable aquatics experience. Evaluate swimming skills; complete progress reports for each session; complete communications for parents. Participate as part of the aquatics staff team in providing a safe and enjoyable environment. Attend staff meetings and trainings as required. What you can expect: Support from an amazing team.
