Licensed Site Safety Coordinator

Licensed Site Safety Coordinator Location: Brooklyn, NY Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour About the role: We are seeking a Licensed Site Safety Coordinator to support a long-term NY SCA school construction project in Brooklyn, NY. An active DOB Site Safety Coordinator license is required, as the individual will be listed on the project permit. This is a full-time position with an anticipated project duration of approximately 2 years. Role & Responsibilities Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify, document, and correct unsafe conditions and practices. Ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements. Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings for site personnel and subcontractors. Maintain accurate safety documentation, including daily reports, incident logs, permits, and corrective action records. Coordinate with project management, contractors, and field staff to promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work activities are performed safely. Skills, Education, and Experience Qualifications Active NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator (SSC) License (required). Experience supporting building construction projects, preferably schools, public works, or commercial construction.
