Customer Service Representative

Location: Weymouth, MA (100% Onsite)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:45 PM | Friday, 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing manufacturing company in Weymouth, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and working in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term career opportunity and takes pride in providing outstanding customer support.

This is not a call center position . The role involves a combination of customer communication via email and phone, order processing, quote preparation, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
Respond to customer inquiries and provide product support
Prepare and process customer quotes and sales orders
Ensure order accuracy, pricing, and delivery requirements are met
Coordinate with internal departments including shipping, finance, and quality teams
Troubleshoot basic product-related issues and assist customers with solutions
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Generate reports and assist with data entry and administrative tasks
Support additional office functions as needed

Qualifications

1-3 years of customer service, administrative, order entry, or office support experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with computer systems and data entry
Experience using ERP systems is a plus but not required
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
