Staff Accountant/Entry Level Accountant

Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions including invoices, vendor payments, corporate card activity, and weekly check runs Code invoices to job cost and equipment accounts; maintain vendor records and manage lien waivers Support accounts receivable by entering billings, applying customer payments, and assisting with reporting and equipment billing processes Assist with account reconciliations, prepaid schedules, and supporting documentation Provide support for payroll processing, reporting, and labor/equipment updates Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and equipment tracking Contribute to month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support Assist with ERP data cleanup and organization initiatives Maintain accounting documentation and support audit requests as needed Partner with senior accounting team members on ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities Overview Staff Accountant (Entry-Level Accountant) $65k to $75k annually Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Internship experience and/or 1-3 years of accounting experience Preferred: Exposure to project accounting, job costing, or construction industry accounting Experience working in a dynamic or evolving environment Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn Pre-Employment Requirements Background check 5-panel drug screen Professional references Desired Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; internship experience or 1-3 years of accounting experience All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
