Senior Project Manager Geotechnical Engineering

They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Geotechnical Engineering to lead high profile projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and act as a trusted technical and client advisor. This role is ideal for a senior geotechnical professional who enjoys ownership of projects, mentoring others, and contributing to strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through design and construction Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring technical and commercial expectations are met Oversee subsurface investigation programs, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and field coordination Review and approve geotechnical analyses, foundation recommendations, earthwork designs, and technical reports Provide senior level technical oversight and quality assurance across deliverables Coordinate closely with civil, structural, environmental, and construction teams on integrated projects Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers, supporting technical growth and performance Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations Assist with workload planning, resource allocation, and project financial performance Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred) 10+ years experience in geotechnical engineering within a consulting environment Strong background managing complex projects and client relationships Proven leadership experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects Broad technical expertise in geotechnical investigation, analysis, and design Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercially aware, organised, and capable of balancing technical and business priorities Collaborative, proactive leader with a commitment to quality and mentorship Why Join My Client?
