Press Brake Operator

Our client, a leader in metal fabrication and manufacturing, is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join their team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift: 1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm M-TH, possible OT on Fridays

What's the Job?

Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to engineering specifications.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise quality control.
Assemble components as needed, employing welding techniques when required.
Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

What's Needed?

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read engineering drawings.
Familiarity with tooling setups and adjustments for various bending tasks.
Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a safety-conscious mindset.
