Make an impact working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract assignment from late October 2026 through June 2027. This position is located near Detroit, MI, and offers the flexibility to work either onsite or virtually. You’ll manage a caseload significantly below the state maximum (under 60 students), providing meaningful support rather than mere numbers.

In this school-based SLP role, you will:

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Proven experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized service plans (IEPs)
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Perform speech and language evaluations as well as assessments for referred students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with educators and families
• Deliver targeted interventions to support each student’s needs, ensuring progress and maintaining documentation
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other essential staff to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment
