Psychiatrist

Remote - Washington, DC Washington, DC, USA Description The Psychiatrist supporting this position will support the program by evaluating personnel as well as providing accurate reports in compliance with mission standards and requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide reports of evaluations, including all necessary elements such as Sources of Information (PSF, etc.), discussion/evaluation data (including evaluation of data received by DOE and whether the report can be released directly to the subject), mental status examination and results, interview information pertinent to history (mental health, alcohol, drugs, behavior, financial, etc.) and all included testing and results. Analyze personnel test results (any psychological and/or laboratory test results and the interpretation/analysis of those test results, including but not limited to Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), Phosphatidylethanol (PEth) tests, urinalysis, drug testing, alcohol testing, etc.). Provide professional interpretation of results, conditions, or determining factors. Provide personnel summaries (including diagnosis, as well as professional opinion regarding any rehabilitation and reformation). Adhere to and deliver discussion of criteria used (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders otherwise known as DSM-5 or other diagnostic manual). Draft, review, and implement evaluation questions (as well as provide detailed answers/descriptions posed by DOE in the request letter). All other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be a psychiatrist. Must possess Department of Energy “Q” clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Seven to ten (7-10) years of related experience, preferably with the DOE.
