The BA is responsible to analyze and design business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable solutions. The BA is responsible for leading productive stakeholder workshops and fostering cross-functional collaboration among other business/data analyst, business sponsor, project manager, subject matter experts, vendors and the project team for the successful delivery of business solutions. Responsibilities Essential Functions:Serves as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders to identify key business objectives; business processes and pain points and work with technology counterparts to propose effective technology solutions Elicits, analyzes, and documents requirements clearly and comprehensively by using various tools and techniques, and translate the business needs into appropriate functional and non-functional requirementsCollaborates closely with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) teams to ensure solutions are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with usability best practicesDrives data gathering, review and analysis of data working closely with business partners to distinguish user requests from true needsManages timely and effective delivery of various business analysis deliverables, including product vision and strategy, business and/or functional requirements specifications, product/sprint backlogs, requirements traceability matrices (RTMs), use cases, personas, prototypes, user stories, business process models, storyboards, workflows and data flow diagrams, user guides etc.Meets with stakeholders regularly to review and validate requirements, critical milestones and dependencies Adopts a structured change request process to evaluate the necessity, impact, and approval of any scope changesMitigates possible delays, roadblocks, or issues encountered by remaining vigilant and proactiveResolves conflicts effectively and obtains stakeholder buy-ins by effectively managing expectations throughout the projectResponsible for the alignment of user acceptance strategy, testing plans, defects management etc. to the project's business requirementsConducts targeted system testing in collaboration with the testers to ensure the quality and successful implementation of new systemsSupports the creation and follow up of project related surveys and end-user communications that clearly explain technical concepts using non-technical languagePerforms other duties as assigned or required to meet firm goals and objectives Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes Education/Training/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
