Must-Have: - Must have acute care experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. - Must be comfortable floating to other units as needed. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. This position involves working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week. The nurse will care for a diverse patient population, including individuals with renal, cardiac, diabetes, and inpatient hospice needs. The nurse-to-patient ratio will typically range from 5 to 6 patients. Flexibility in staffing ratios may be required based on unit needs. Floating to other units may be necessary based on operational requirements. Candidates should have proficiency in Epic for charting. As part of the team, the nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The role includes providing care and management for various conditions, performing wound care, managing IVs, and administering medications. Candidates must be prepared to work weekends as assigned by unit needs. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
