Mechanical Assembler

Location: Alvarado, TX

Pay: $17.75/hour

Shift: Day Shift – Four 10-Hour Days

Overtime: Available and Expected

Work Location: 100% Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to support manufacturing operations in Alvarado, TX. This position performs a variety of mechanical assembly operations involving components, equipment, and finished products.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, and able to learn new assembly processes quickly .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Fit, mount, align, and adjust components during the assembly process.
• Assemble equipment housings, mechanical components, connecting lines, and related parts.
• Operate air presses, drills, and common hand tools .
• Inspect materials and components for defects or quality issues.
• Perform basic operational testing of completed assemblies.
• Follow work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Meet production expectations while maintaining quality and safety.

Ideal Candidate

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to established manufacturing processes.
• Able to inspect materials and identify potential quality issues.
• Dependable and comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Previous mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
• Approximately 1–2 years of related experience is ideal.

• Air presses
• Drills
• Common hand and assembly tools

Schedule

• Day shift
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Overtime is available and should be expected based on production needs.
• 100% onsite in Alvarado, TX

Requirements

• No certifications required.
• Ability to safely operate basic assembly tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Assembler: 1 year (Preferred)
