About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in leading M&A activities, ERP conversions, and strategic financial transformation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these areas, particularly with privately held, PE-backed, and high-growth middle-market companies. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading M&A financial integration, overseeing ERP implementation or upgrade projects, and guiding finance process re-engineering. The role also involves collaborating with executive teams on strategic planning, providing interim or fractional CFO leadership, and managing relationships with lenders, auditors, and investors to ensure compliance and transparency. Candidates for the CFO position should have at least 15 years' of progressive finance leadership experience, with a preference for those holding a CPA or MBA. A deep understanding of GAAP, FP&A, audit readiness, and cross-functional operations is essential. The CFO will be expected to have strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence, and experience with public accounting and PE-backed companies is a strong plus. The role is well-suited for seasoned CFOs or senior accounting leaders who are adept at balancing executive decision-making with tactical execution and can quickly assess financial operations to drive enterprise-level efficiency.
